We are very proud to announce that we have just released Search Guard 5!
Search Guard 5 is compatible with Elasticsearch 5 and offers all features of our previous Search Guard versions. Installation and configuration are nearly the same as with Search Guard 2, you can re-use all of your settings and certificates.
One noticeable change: We have bundled the SSL layer with the main plugin, just install Search Guard 5, and you’re good to go.
For those of you who need TLS only: We still offer a standalone version of Search Guard 5 SSL!
The release version is Search Guard 5.0.0.8, and it can be found on Maven Central:
Install it directly via:
